| Good places to snorkel on Isla are easy to find. Yes, near Avalon is a fine place to start. Rent gear from Seahawk divers. Theyre close to the street that crosses over the bridge to Avalon. If your friends like it, next to go Hotel Garrafon de Castillo near Punta Sur. Great spot for beginners. They rent equipment and have lockers for your stuff. If you like THAT, then go to Capitan Tony or Seahawk (my favorites) for a boat snorkel. Lovely spots right off the west coast with sunken sculptures, lots of fish, turtles, corals and other great sights. In the National Underwater Parks youre required to wear a life vest, so even inexperienced snorkelers will feel safe. Have a wonderful time! |
