I brought home a small bag of sand from North Beach.
Intending on making a seasonal table centrepeice,with the sand,shells,seaglass etc..
I put the sand under the microscope...
Its so interesting..its actually ground up limestone,coral..and teeny little shells..and shell bits...
I think if I pour the sand in a small bowl..I may be able to dip my toe,and with eyes closed,and a warm breeze..and a cold cerveza..I may be transported back to "Isla time"..sigh...
I also planted some glass beads around the beaches in January..anyone find any??.. |
