Isla has talent, lots of talent but nowhere for all the resident artists & visiting artists to show off their work. Barlito is changing that!

Stefania Zuanella
Stefania is an italian artist living & working in Mexico since 1993. Her mediums includes original acrylic paintings as well as watercolors. Recently, she also started designing original hand painted t-shirts & a collection of hand made jewels. You can see her work in Isla Mujeres in her small gallery across the street from Barlito.
Sally Margolis
Sally, originally from NY, came to Isla by way of Seattle. After numerous vacations here, Sally decided to move here full time. The beauty of Isla inspires her creativity as you can see with her unique jewelry. Her earrings, necklaces, pendants & rings are true works of art.
Colleen DeGregory
Colleen is a multi-talented artist who paints, sews, creates jewelry & went to culinary school. She is from Miami but moved here by way of Nashville. Colleen will be showing her jewelry & some of her paintings.
Anna Stauch
Anna is originally from Germany & has lived on the Island for 1 1/2 years. She has designed jewelry for a few years but is now working with silver & stones since she moved to Mexico. Anna is inspired by her travels in Mexico & South America.
Gladys Galdamez
Gladys has lived on the Island for years. Both of her daughters were raised here. She is a talented seamstress & clothing designer. for men, women & children. She has a boutique in the hotel that she & her husband Gunther, own & manage downtown.
Tracy Walsdorf
Tracy & her husband moved to Isla 5 months ago after being frequent visitors for the past 19 years. Tracy creates jewelry from things that she finds on Isla. She is inspired by the people of Isla & the Islands natural beauty.
Cindy Martinez
Cindy has been visiting Isla for many years. She loves to walk the colonias & photograph the locals. Every year, she returns with her portaits framed & finds the locals & gives them their pictures as gifts. Cindy has been making the people of Isla smile for years. Her kindness & generosity is much appreciated by Islenos. |
